Summary of the study visit
This study visit offers the opportunity to explore how different youth organizations operate in Slovenia. Participants will engage with Catholic organizations, conference for youth missionaries organized by "Life Teen" and community initiatives to understand diverse approaches to education, social work, and service. Through visits, discussions, and hands-on experiences, they will gain insight into different cultural and organizational contexts.

What can you expect?
The Shared Mission exchange offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of volunteering across Slovakia and Slovenia. Participants will:
Experience different approaches – visit Catholic NGOs, and other organizations to see how they operate and serve their communities.
Engage in Life Teen conference – exchange ideas with missionaries and leaders, gaining new perspectives on service and faith-based initiatives.
Daily Holy Mass.
Explore beauty of Slovenia – during the visitation we will see a part of Slovenia, city and nature.
Build stronger partnership – we will have a strategic meeting between Slovenian and Slovak organisations to decide how to work on the mission together in the future.
This exchange is about learning, growing, and strengthening your mission-driven impact. Get ready for an inspiring journey!
Practical information
We will go from Slovakia by vans.
Project is covered by Erasmus+. Accommodation, meals, participation in conference and travel expenses are covered by project.

Who can participate?
People who work with youth:

who are interested in the topic;
who can speak English at a B2 level.

reading all the information carefully;
communicating timely with the organisers;
preparing adequately for the training course according to the instructions;
taking actively part in the full duration of the activities and lectures;
to participate in the evaluation process after the training course

Accomodation
Accomodation
The accommodation will take place in beautiful Stična monastery, which is 30 minutes ride from Ljubljana.
The accommodation will be in shared rooms of two people. Showers and toilets are shared. The sheets and towels will be provided.
During the day we will be away from the accommodation, visiting organisations in Ljubljana and around.

Van transportation – We will travel together by vans. Once the participants apply, we will arrange the leaving stations from Slovakia.

Beakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks are all included. Also individual eating habits of participants will be taken into account.

It is the participant's responsibility to obtain full insurance for themselves. This includes travel insurance, medical insurance or European Health Insurance Card.
